The Busiest Week of The Semester

This week has been the busiest week I have gone through in CCU. There are a lot of things waiting for me to do at any given time. In this journal, I will be sharing two main things that overwhelm me, which are the mid-term exam and my part-time work as a translator.

First of all, the mid-term exam. Without a doubt, this is something that worries all students whenever it comes. Not only because that as a student we usually have to prepare different kinds of subjects at school, but also this is when we must think more about the future. Although I did not have a lot of credits to take in this term, I still feel the pressure that I have never felt before. Personally, it is because the subject I take is harder than last semester, I felt that I had a hard time keeping up with the pace of the school. As a result, I limited my time to do other activities and dedicated myself to learning school subjects. However, I feel a sense of isolation from the world because of the limitation of other activities, which is the thing that troubles me the most.

Secondly, the part-time job as a translator at CCU. This is a job introduced by my English composition instructor, and I have been steeped in the translation for almost half a year. I really enjoy being a translator. However, the overwhelming workload that the boss gave us is beyond my imagination, we have to write and revise the draft over and over again until it meets the boss' expectations. It is very difficult for me to do this while keeping up with the pace of the mid-term exam, but I guess this is just something we must deal with in our life, the feeling of overwhelming.

Overall, I have been dried out by different tasks at school recently. Although it is such a tedious time of my life, I still feel that I have gained a lot, for the things I have done are beneficial for a student. And I will keep myself busy so as to learn as much as possible.
